T hrough  the activities that we have done in class and the articles that we have  read;  I have decided to work independently on my project.     Some of the  activities  done in  class  gave me an  idea  on why an  independent  project is best for my  personality  type. Admittingly, I have never been  particularly good   at  compromising  with  others  on my  ideas. When I have  a promising idea  or  way of  doing something, I like to do it my way and find it difficult  to  combine my  ideas with others.  The “Lost at Sea” activity was a good example of  how these issues  could interfere with a successful project.   Experimenting with  InD esign and  Premier  Pro were very enlightening experiences which  gave me insight into which program I was most comfortable using for my project.    Between the two programs,  InD esign was the most complicated  and  confusing for me.  I struggle d  to understand and grasp the   directions  on how to create a magazine.  I struggled to simply place an image onto the program, which would certainly reflect my performance  w hen the  set-up gets more complicated. I was having difficulty understanding how to use the  man functions  of the program, which led me to frustration.  While  InD esign is  remarkably interesting  and useful, I  do not  think I have  skills needed to successfully create a magazine.  I   determined  that using this program would  most likely lead  to more difficulty than success for my ...
